(She’s briefly featured around the 1:30 mark in the new season preview above.)

  1. Thanks for the shoutout DM!! Sydney really appreciates it! While “The Voice” does premiere tonight at 8 pm, we actually don’t know yet which episode Sydney’s Blind Audition will air. There are usually 5 episodes of Blind Auditions so the last one will air on either Oct. 5th or 6th. NBC will notify contestants 3 days before their audition airs, so we’ll keep you posted. The talent is amazing this season, so I highly recommend tuning in to as many episodes as possible!

  2. Welcome Back!
I will try to watch The Voice tonight but for people like me, who long to watch a complete episode of American Idle without falling asleep, this program would have to offer something like Marlyn Monroe reincarnated as a judge. But hope springs eternal. I read in the WSJ that some company has figured out a way for the dead to perform again. If they can bring back Keith Richards then maybe Marlyn’s next.

    1. “…this program would have to offer something like Marlyn Monroe reincarnated as a judge.” That’s funny. Have you seen Gwen Stefani? Sort of uncanny, now that you mention it. 🙂

Watching and waiting for our local girl.

    2. Um, I think Keith is still with us on this mortal plane (or is it plain?) Did I miss something? I hope someone posts about how our young Decaturite performed on the big stage.

      1. I’m thinking maybe he meant Keith Moon.

Of course, Keith Richards has looked dead for about 20 years.

        1. I firmly believe Keef has been dead for about 20 years, but no one’s had the nerve to tell him. (In all seriousness, I love me some Mr. Richards!)

On another note: Welcome back, DM–I missed ya!
