  1. “This is a way to pay my civic rent.” Terrific quote from temp-commissioner Bolling. I’ve never met the man but he seems AOK by me.

  2. I absolutely enjoy my short walk to work each day! And for those “longer” trips around Decatur love my bike.

  3. No question for me the happiest commute is via the train, where I can read, listen to music, etc. And I especially enjoy it when it’s full of costumed characters! Speaking of, a thank you to the members of the Feed and Seed Abominable Marching Band who I saw on the eastbound platform after the DragonCon parade. They graciously posed with several children while the train was delayed, making the wait more bearable for their parents (and fellow passengers) I’m sure.

  4. Trees on Buford Hwy? Maybe some day. Recreational cyclists? Well, for at least one day that will be a reality. This Saturday.
