A bit last minute, but if you’re looking for some entertainment this afternoon, head on down to Decatur High School stadium! The Boys Soccer team is in the quarter-finals. Michael sent in the details.
With great fan support from the Decatur community, the Decatur Bulldog boys soccer team was able to defeat Sonoraville High School Wednesday night 6-0 in the second round of the State Playoffs. In the first round of the playoffs, they travelled two hours to Sandersville, GA, last Friday where they defeated Washington County 11-1. The Bulldogs now advance to the Elite 8 of the State Playoffs.
The Decatur boys will play host on Saturday to Dawson County High School. Kickoff will be at 2:00 PM at Decatur High School. Per Georgia High School Association regulations, tickets are $7.00 with ages 5 and under free. The Decatur community – and any other fans of good soccer – are invited to come out and cheer on the Decatur High Boys Soccer team as they look to advance to the Final Four!

And the Girls Varsity soccer team won 2-1 over Savannah on Friday to advance to the final four! Go Decatur! They will play Wesminister on May 12th.
