Just received this announcement from the owners of Pure Barre in Virginia Highland, who are currently building out their new location on Church Street in Decatur…

The owners of Pure Barre Virginia Highland announced today their newest location in Decatur will open Wednesday, May 13. The fitness destination is the latest and greatest franchise of Pure Barre, the largest, most established network of barre studios in the nation, headquartered in Spartanburg, S.C.

Pure Barre Decatur will be located at 415 Church St., Decatur, Ga. 30030. The studio is owned by locals Ashley Goot and Katy Bayless Gibson, who have already established a reputation as an effective exercise option in the Virginia Highland neighborhood.

“Ashley and I feel very fortunate to have really connected with the Virginia Highland community, especially our clients, over the past year,” said co-owner, Katy Bayless Gibson. “We are really looking forward to continuing our business in Virginia Highland and bringing our expertise to Decatur. We love that it’s such a vibrant neighborhood with obvious personality and a craving for studios like ours that foster an encouraging, fun environment to get fit.”

The new location is currently running a new client pre-opening special until May 13. This special is $99 for five weeks of unlimited classes and available online now at www.purebarre.com/ga-decatur.

The Pure Barre workout has exploded in popularity since its inception in 2001, with over 300 studios across the country currently and even more opening every week. In just 55 minutes, the barre-based workout utilizes small, isometric movements to target areas women struggle with most: hips, thighs, seat, abdominals and arms. Each section of the workout is immediately followed by stretching to create a long, lean and strong physique. The workout is low-impact and designed to work for people of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels.

Pure Barre Decatur will also be a fashion hub for fitness retail and lifestyle apparel, including popular, long-lasting brands such as ALO, Beyond Yoga, Emi Jay, Knotty, Lily & Laura and BRK. In addition, Pure Barre Decatur will also carry Pure Barre branded Splits 59 apparel, an active line exclusively sold in Pure Barre studios.
