I get that the “hands free” cars are a bridge to the truly autonomous vehicles, but I won’t be that interested until I can sit in the passenger seat and read emails; in other words, Uber without the driver.
I thought the most interesting part of that article was that THAT was possibly coming much sooner than anyone expected. Didn’t it say months and not years?
Hands-free driving is months away according to the article, yes.
Driverless, schmiverless…until I get the flying cars I was promised (by virtually every cartoon & movie about “The Future” that I saw whilst growing up), I ain’t licking my chops over any of ’em.
