Little Shop of Stories will turn 10 years old this summer and to celebrate we are hosting a party on the square and in the store complete with live music, readings, crafts, a pop-up shop with My Parents’ Basement comics, a presentation by Synchronicity Theatre, and … (drum roll) … a visit from Judy Schachner!!! Judy is an author/illustrator of the SkippyJon Jones picture books and one of our favorite persons in the entire universe.
This party coincides with Independent Bookstore Day and the start of Children’s Book Week, and is a big thank-you to the Decatur community. It takes a village to raise a bookstore and Little Shop wouldn’t be possible without the support of our customers!
