  1. I have several small appliances that have died (coffee maker and blender). I hate throwing them away. Where can they be recycled?

    1. Keep Atlanta Beautiful has a couple of recycling events each month (Buckhead and Old 4th Ward), and their literature says they take small appliances and microwaves.

  2. Dropped my stuff off here and it was well run, laid out perfectly, and staffed by cheerful, helpful staff. Well done Decatur!

    1. Agree! Helpful, friendly, waving city staff! It gives government workers a bad rep! If only the social security administration, drivers license and registration, and vital records folks could learn from this!

  3. Dekalb Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) was Saturday too and I missed it, I had been waiting and waiting for that one to get rid of some old paint! Shoot!
