Barely Lethal filmed in Decatur back in December 2013. The movie stars Hailee Steinfeld, Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba and is set to be released in theaters in April.
On a decidedly sadder note, it also includes a shot of the house in Avondale that was the site of that terrible fire. Probably not long after.
