Chris points out that DaVinci’s Pizzeria opens today in the old Mellow Mushroom space in the CVS plaza along West Ponce.

Maybe I don’t get out enough, but that is the first time I have seen a beer from one of the breweries in Fannin Co/Blue Ridge, GA sold in Atlanta (Toccoa Brown Ale).

If it is the same “Brown Ale” that Barnsley Gardens has as there house beer (from Fannin), it is quite good.
Italian Stallion pizza was awesome. fresh, crispy toppings. Olive oil instead of sauce on a tasty crust. I’ll ask for crispy next time. The meatball sandwich was a hit with my picky friend. A few new place issues to iron out. Bring a magnifying glass to read the menu.
