Last Day of Decatur MLK Jr. Service Project – Volunteers Still Needed!

Decatur’s Lifelong Community Coordinator LeeAnn Harvey wrote in late last night…

MONDAY is the last day of the Decatur Martin Luther King Jr. Service Project. We have a lot of important repairs of our senior citizens’ homes that we would like to complete. We have a shortage of carpenters and skilled volunteers. We would love your help! If you’re available or know someone who is, the volunteer shifts are 9am to 1pm and 1pm to 5pm. Volunteers meet at the Solarium, 321 W. Hill St. in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur (30030). We’ll have breakfast, lunch and dinner available. Information about the Project is available at http://www.mlkserviceproject.com. Call Lee Ann Harvey at 770-652-8593 or email [email protected].

Thank you for being a Decatur Volunteer!
