Dos Madres Cantina Now Open For Lunch; Dinner Service Planned for Next Week
Decatur Metro | December 6, 2014 | 9:34 amAs commenter “Old Decatur” notes, Dos Madres Cantina, in the old Native/Garlic Thai Space at 330 West Ponce is now open. And apparently they’ve been slowly ramping things up since the beginning of the month. A note on their website says…
As of Monday, December 1, we opened for lunch, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We’ve kept it low key to help us work out the kinks, but things have been going well and we’re looking forward to seeing all of you soon! We’re open 11 -3 on Saturday December 6 and 12:30 – 4 on Sunday December 7. We hope to open for dinner as well starting next week. Check in here to find out the latest!
You can check out their menu HERE. Related, a note on their Facebook page says that their signature cocktails where developed in collaboration with Miles Macquarrie of Kimball House/Leon’s fame.
Hmm . . . menu doesn’t have prices. Someone report back with info.
Went for lunch today. Prices are totally in line with other restaurants in the area. 2 taco plate is around $8.50. Fajitas range from $11-$14. They also have a kids menu.
How was it?
We thought it was great. I see us going on a regular basis.
Craft margarita was outstanding… And the food doesn’t fall behind. Had the fish tacos grate amount of food for the price. Have to make this a regular place.
Anyone else lost power off Candler?
Is Candler causing power failures again?
Until right now, yes.
Is this Mex, or Tex-Mex?
