Also perhaps of interest to some, Goodwill is building a store and career center nearby, in North DeKalb Square (presumably in the building that burned several years ago).

I thought Murder Kroger was referring to how I felt every time I shop at the ever expanding/confusing Kroger on DeKalb Industrial.
Nope, that’s the Big Kroger, now called the Big Ass Kroger
Nope, sorry–Murder Kroger is always going to be Murder Kroger to me. But one side of the coin is, we’ll be able to tell who’s a newbie to the area based on what folks call it. 😀
+1
The one I shopped at for years when first living in Atlanta will always be the Disco Kroger to me. Fewer and fewer people know which one that is.
I know, right? I hope Disco Kroger never loses its moniker, either!!
Yes, and those of us who still call it Disco Kroger also still shop at Rich’s. Seriously.
I used to live in that area when I first moved to Atlanta (mid 90s) and we always called it Killer Kroger and the one in Ansley was Cruise-y Kroger. Just us?
My office was near Disco Kroger and it will always be that to me, with our without the disco.
