Which Decatur Area Restaurants are Open On Thanksgiving This Year?
Decatur Metro | November 13, 2014 | 2:02 pmThis is a reoccurring request on DM, always worth readdressing. Elle writes in…
I was wondering if you might be able to provide a listing of local restaurants that are planning Thanksgiving day menus, or to be open at all for dining or drinks. …it would be a good resource.
Mary Mac’s Tea Room
Petite Auberge
This is not Decatur (neither are the others mentioned thus far) but ‘The Colonnade’ is a Thanksgiving Dinner tradition. Be sure to make a reservation though.
Normally, the Colonnade does not take reservations. Do they make an exception for Thanksgiving? That sure would be nice!
Tried to dine at the Colonnade on EAster several years ago. About 2:30pm the line to get in was all around the building and weaving through the parking lot.
This is why I can deal with the gays, who like to sleep in, but just can’t handle those grays getting there so early!
Ted’s Montana Grill is open thanksgiving – but make a reservation!
Thought I read that Sun in My Belly is offering food for purchase.
AND, where can a family volunteer?
lookup Central Outreach and Advocacy Center, across from the capitol building downtown — I attend Central Presbyterian, I know they were looking for families to volunteer on the Friday after T’giving to put together snack/lunch bags for the individuals identifying as homeless that they serve….
Thanks everyone!
And thank you Decatur Metro for posting my question!
