The MIA Facebook page reports today: “Thank you to all of City Hall in Avondale Estates for the help, you all are a wonderful group to work with” and includes a photo of the permit. Check it out and plan to patronize the Market In Avondale in thevery near future: https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/The-Market-in-Avondale/1457041607887227.
Permitting is a regulatory process that ensures public health and fire safety. It is not unusal for diligent inspectors to find one or a few things that need correction in support of permit issuance no matter how hard a permittee and their contractors have worked to meet the permitting requirements.

DM, I think your censorship here is out of bounds. It is well known that Decaturish censors critical comments on his own site, but it is disappointing that you would stoop to that here.
Decaturish holds himself out to the public as a journalist, and should be accountable as such. He is also clearly on a personal crusade against the AE mayor. He can choose to explain or defend his actions or not, but censorship of critical commentary is not the answer.
Keep it about the issue and don’t resort to name calling and personal slights/accusations and I’ll allow the conversation to continue. Otherwise I’ll generally “stoop” to moderating it. People can agree/disagree with it, but it’s a long-standing policy.
Decaturish only censors critical comments with which he doesn’t agree. If he could keep his editorial comments to himself and out of his articles,
maybe then he could be considered a journalist. Until then he is just another blogger.

Suggesting that the requirements are far too burdensome or are being applied unreasonably.
Hello Pythagoras and Dawgfan,
Could you two please share three completely unbiased journalists from the following news organizations – MSNBC, CNN, and Fox?
Also, how are you defining journalism?
