Just tried (1:25pm) and was able to get a ticket. I didn’t actually need one because I’m volunteering but maybe demand has slowed this year. I didn’t buy the (non VIP) ticket, so, if you didn’t try because you think they’re sold out, try now!
Has this festival jumped the shark? Is Decatur generally just passe? Should I worry about my home value and think about selling? It’s 1:30 and there are still beer festival tickets left!
Hmmmm…you may be on to something. Just checked, still tix left. Maybe those VIP tickets finally pushed folk into the “Nevermind” mentality. Ah, well, I doubt it won’t sell out, at any rate.

Maybe not jumped the shark, but could have peaked last year. How many tickets were for sale this year vs. prior? An increase in supply may have sustained the inventory for longer….

Product dilution, perhaps? Seems like there’s been an explosion of craft beer festivals in the metro area in the last couple of years. That, coupled with the $100 tickets bought by those who pounced on the $40 ones last year, may account for the slower sell out time this year.
