What am I looking at here? Fireworks? A new bicycle rack sculpture? Weapons of destruction? Am I looking down East Ponce or across it? Guess I better get off my duff and get out and see what’s going on in our world.

I always liked that the mini Caterpillars were called Bobcats.
“Bobcat” is the brand name for a skid steer made by Ingersoll Rand. Caterpillar is a different company that also makes a skid steer, usually with just the name “CAT” on them. Bobcat is the most popular, at least in this part of the country, so the name is often used generically in the construction trades to refer to a skid steer.
