Should have taken warning
It’s just people mourning
Running, hiding, lost
You can’t find, find a place to go, so it’s
Red skies at night
Red skies at night
Whoa oh, oh oh oh oh
“Red Skies at Night”
-The FIXX
Buy the sky and sell the sky
And bleed the sky and tell the sky
Don’t fall on me
“Fall on Me”

That magical 5-10 minutes was easily the most remarkable sky I have ever seen. Crazy things can happen when big thunderstorms hit right at sunset. Even with a sky full of thick clouds, there is that brief moment when the Sun peeks between the elevation of the bottom of the clouds and the horizon, and those rays hit said clouds and a lower atmosphere completely saturated with water droplets, resulting in the bizarre, beautiful spectacle we saw last night.
I made the kids get off the couch for a couple of minutes and go outside to see it. I don’t think I have ever seen a purple/pink sky before.
I’m so SAD that I missed this! Was indoors at a movie. 🙁
Whoah…these are makin’ me feel all “SCUZE ME, WHILE I KISS THE SKY!”
Seriously, though–amazing. Wish I’d seen it for myself.
Don’t you mean “SCUZE ME, WHILE I KISS THIS GUY?”
🙂
BLASPHEMER!!
