Wonderful Celtic/Appalachian/Southern music played to a high but comfortable standard every Tuesday night by skilled local musicians: fiddles, pipes, mandolin, guitar, flutes, bass. Drop-ins by musicians passing through town. Friendly staff. Love that place.
LOVE this place, espcially how welcoming they are to dogs…it deserves all the kudos it gets!
+ several glasses of beer. Nice people, good food, love dogs. What else is needed in a pub?
Love the music and the atmosphere, but wish they’d go back to the former menu, or at least the veggier items that have been deleted. Can’t find anything I want to eat anymore.
I know it was done an owner or two ago (Angel I believe was the name at the time) but the attention to detail on the interior renovation was unbelievable. There are times I go here just to look at the woodwork (and get a beer of course, but I can do that lots of places).
Glad this place is getting some much deserved attention. I think they’ve made a ton of great changes since they first opened, especially with their beer list. Might we say it’s an exceptional Irish pub that’s been Decaturized?
