  1. I’m looking forward to purchasing and planting one of the Arbor Day trees– and especially excited that I will get some good advice about what to buy for the spot I intend to plant!

    1. The trees are being sold basically at cost. Any extra proceeds will go to planting additional trees within the city.

  2. Mrs. Vee had a great question yesterday when we passed by the donated tree and sale site. Is it possible to pay for a tree (or two) and have the city plant it in an appropriate site? We have a bit of a logjam 🙂 on our property and may not have room for new growth, but would still like to contribute to the local canopy.

Edit – Oops, just re-read the order form. Never mind, carry on. Nothing to see here…

Thanks again to Chadwick for getting this going.

    1. Hey Jay Vee-

Thanks for the question, and it sounds like you saw the donation lines toward the bottom of the order form. To expand for DM readers: we are collecting donations for both Trees Atlanta and City of Decatur to plant trees if you don’t have a place on your own property. Trees Atlanta will plant on both public and private property, and the city will use the money to buy trees for city property and rights-of-way.
