lock your frickin’ cars, people.
Why? So you can pay for a broken window as well as stolen items? No thanks.
Given that it looks like these guys are looking for extremely low hanging fruit, no, not really.
You should read Sgt Ross’ advice. They’re going to look for the easiest, fastest, least noisy, target first. That’s the unlocked car.
Yes. If your car is parked on the street or in a driveway, leave it unlocked. Don’t leave anything worth stealing in the car. Have an alarm.
Don’t take stuff that’s not frickin’ yours, people.
I doubt they are reading this, and I don’t think they’d be moved to change their behavior if they were. People unwisely leaving stuff in their cars, however, just might.
If someone had just warned me that the clothing was dirty….
Monty: some folks are into that.
It was ALL so DIRTY.
Our car was hit on N Candler sometime Thursday night. They swiped iPhone and audio cables and tossed the contents of glove box.
Was it left unlocked? I have to park overnight on N. Candler sometimes and always expect I’ll come out to my car being broken in to. I consider leaving it unlocked sometimes to keep from having a broken window. I never keep anything valuable in it.
Why would you leave a phone in your car??
Sorry, not the iPhone but it’s power cable.
We don’t leave anything of value in the car be cause it’s an unlocked convertible — knifed convertible tops are more expensive to replace than windows.
