Mark my words: The Imperial is going to be the next big thing! I have a feeling it will be the one place that will suck me westward from Trackside. I just hope that between this and Palookaville opening (soon, I hear, according to their newest hire) that the Yacht Club doesn’t suffer by losing seemingly their entire staff.
And if you’re on the fence about the Imperial, check out this pic of Robert embracing “The Dequator”! Honestly, I thought he would’ve gone with the Taint…
I need your guidance on how to set up a licensing agreement with Robert to allow him to commercially use my trademarked term “Dequator.” I’m willing to take my fees in beer.
Well, I’m not an expert on this but I think your first step would be to actually register for a trademark. Knowing Robert, though, I’ll bet he’d be willing to compensate you liquidly.
I wrote the post soliciting names for the Decatur rail line district and thus consider all submittals to fall under Work-for-Hire. Which, in practical terms, means I’m trying to find a way to weasel in on all this free beer.
i read that post, and checked back to read comments a couple times. i have some serious time invested in it. don’t screw me out of this free beer. i have earned it.

The Taint is a bar waiting to happen.
what a great rehab of that dilapidated space. That building has been mess for as long as I can recall ( and that would be around 1990)
It was a great night to watch the July fireworks and Robert’s (and his staff) hospitality is always top-notch.
Can’t wait for them to open!
Excited to be able to turn left or right on Mead and hit an establishment
