Sidewalk Repair – Garden Lane, Decatur GA (pic submitted by Diane)

Um, I don’t think that is Garden Lane.
Yeah, there’s a sidewalk and Garden is one of the few Decatur streets without one.
Like this photo. Looks like Mike Mulligan’s steam shovel resting under a tree before the big dig.
There’s that, and the fact that Garden Lane isn’t (at a minimum) 3 lanes.
Actually, Garden COULD be three lanes, since we have all that extra room with no sidewalks. But that house IS on Clairemont, right across from Garden. Diane was probably actually standing on Garden when she snapped the photo.
That’s Clairemont Rd..
Tree protection standards are clearly understood and being followed? Or am I being too harsh?
When a tree and a backhoe love each other very, very much…
That’s only funny until some right wing politician tries to out-Cuccinelli Virginia and ban backhoeing here again, too.
Which sounds dirtier: “backhoe” or “Cuccinelli?”
I don’t think it’s mutual.
I hope the contractor was there to pick up its poo when it was finished.
Gladys is NOT being harsh. Someone send out the arborist.
