Best Atlanta Airport Restaurant For the Money
Decatur Metro | July 11, 2013There have been a lot of changes at the Atlanta airport since Mayor Kasim Reed broke all the leases and shook things up a year or so ago.
Lots of new local spots. I even recall John Kessler reviewing the new airport Ecco location recently.
So where are your favorite food stop-offs at the airport these days?
There’s burritos everywhere which is great. Moe’s in C still. Qdoba and Willy’s are in A & B (can’t recall which is which). Great to get a burrito if you’re on Delta or AirTran rather than just at C.
Was recently in B. Willys is right next to Fresh to Order. Impressed that there’s a Lotta Frutta there too.
I don’t know about “best”, but there is a place called Atlanta Chophouse and Brewery in the Delta terminal (it replaced Houlihans) that gives you an insane quantity of food for the money. But don’t let the “brewery” in the name fool you; the beer selection sucks.
So does the food.
I’m looking forward to Varasano’s opening soon.
I actually enjoyed what I had there, though I’ve forgotten what it was (some kind of fish) and it was way too much for one person to eat.
I’m looking forward to the IHOP opening, since I’m rarely at the airport outside of breakfast hours.
Where will that be?
I think it’s called the Atrium–close to where you enter the airport from MARTA.
One Flew South without a doubt on Concourse E
The Taxi Drivers Cafeteria! http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/21/travel/21airport.html?pagewanted=all
Original El Taco on Concourse F/International. I somehow had a flight to Dulles departing from an F gate this spring, and got super happy when I saw that food option open up to me.
There is a Varsity in Terminal F. Way to represent!
Ugh. I go through that airport a ton and I hate to say it, but Mickey D’s. I guess that speaks to how good I think the airport food is.
They have a lot of new options now. You obviously haven’t been to the airport in a few months.
Five Guys!
Ecco in the International Terminal.
The last two times I came through, I noticed both Goldbergs and Piece of Cake had locations in the airport.
I go through the airport a lot, thank goodness for the new Willy’s in concourse B. Ate there 3 times this week! Eating options have improved especially with F concourse. In general, our airport and the amenities are pretty terrible
