based on the outrage following the previous round of not public enough public meetings, i expect we’ll need to add trailers to these meeting sites to accommodate the overflow crowds

Which time are you referring to?

Anybody attend the 4:00 PM meeting last night? Anything to report?
CSD staff and their consultant went over the details of the various options, and discussed some of their thought process. The SLTs had some good questions. Unfortunately the general public (taxpayers) were subject to a gag rule – we weren’t allowed to ask questions, but were allowed to write down questions for “future” meetings. I do applaud CSD for having this meeting, however it should have occured two months ago, before the scheduled School Board approval vote.
From my limited understanding of the high school (haven’t had a child attend there yet), Option 3 seems to be reasonable. The plan is to add classrooms within the existing footprint and expand toward Commerce Street (a commercial street).
As for Renfroe, I don’t see any of the options as being viable. CSD seems he**-bent on building a new school parallel to Kings Highway and tearing down everything except the new gym. This seems like a waste of the money, the new wing on the western side of the school is less than 10 years old!
