RE: Turner Field menu…
Most importantly–Braves Win!!!
But, pack your patience if you want a burger. Last night the line was about a 1 hour wait to get a burger at the stand closest to Section 100. Consequently, we passed on the burger in favor of actually watching the game, but they sure did smell tasty! The grilled beef aroma permeated the area & wafted into the stands, which I’m sure only added to the long wait.
And their much purported “updated wi-fi” is a joke. There was no improvement over last year, and if you could log in eventually, you were almost immediately kicked out.
Interesting… The Braves are selling special “Burger” tickets (a seat and a burger for $34) that apparently allow you to go to the head of the line. Wonder if the fuss will die down (I hope)…
The storm drain improvement project has been wonderful for us – on the way to and from school, Toddler Nubbs LOVES looking at all the equipment and telling me what it all is called. We drove around a while last night counting tractors/diggers, etc. Oh, and if you ask him who is doing the work, he will tell you that it is Bob – as in Bob the Builder.
Aaaah. Boys and their trucks. When mine was little, I actually built up some expertise in construction truck terminology, now long gone. You do know about the Tow Truck Museum in Chattanooga, I hope. Small but the staff love tow trucks, perfect for a truck loving boy.
We do – and we are going to Chattanooga at the end of the month to ride Thomas the Train, check out the tow trucks, and go to the aquarium. Not sure who will have more fun, my husband or the kid.
We also have to drive by a house being renovated every day – to see the progress that Bob (and his dad) have made. Apparently Bob is very busy in Decatur these days, as are Scoop and Lofty.
Based on the experience of our own ongoing renovation and associated construction loan, Bob the Banker ain’t doin’ so bad either…
Reminds me of ….
