I checked the “Bus Updates” on the CSD website, but there was no new information. This is (only) the second time this year that the bus has not picked up the crew of kids at our stop….
Every day I get in the queue (too much, the Magic Bus)
To get on the bus that takes me to you (too much, the Magic Bus)
I’m so nervous, I just sit and smile (too much, the Magic Bus)
Your house is only another mile (too much, the Magic Bus)
-The Who
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don’t need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free
Beautiful picture Al. Not familiar with the Gooney Birds. I bet this bus is a witch to maintain. Reminds me that I use to own a postal vehicle back in my hippie days but it wasn’t nearly as cool as this baby.
Nice photo Al and a great old Wanderlodge, too bad everyone keeps calling it a bus it is one of the best motor homes ever built (Blue Bird, the MFG, is a bus company though so some forgiveness),
Goonie Birds were awesome back at a Dead show in the 80’s, ‘cept back then it was a plane not a bus…
Nice pic just the same!
One of the new school buses?
+1 Just as long as it shows up! (My daughter’s FAVE bus never showed up today. Kids late to school; parents late to work. Frustrating.)
There’s supposed to be some way to check online for what’s up when there’s bus issues. Did that come into play? If not, let Central Office know.

Would love to know the story about that bus.
I’d love to know the stories that have happened in that bus.
I especially love it — My “GBK” stands for “Gooney Bird Kids”!
Reminds me of “Across the Universe.”
