Decatur Metro | October 31, 2012 | 9:03 am- Ball field light construction under way at McKoy Park [Be Active Decatur]
- Racetrac rezoning request near Little Creek Farm withdrawn by county [Patch]
- DeKalb considering new excise tax on manufacturing [AJC]
- Southeast Atlanta residents rally for “smart development” [Patch]
- Shawn Doty’s fast chicken restaurant now open in Ansley Park [AJC]
- Lenox Mall to sport first 4 electric vehicle charging stations in Buckhead [Buckhead View]
- Stat of the Day: Wind and Solar now account for almost 5% of U.S. installed capacity [greentechmedia]
The headline of the wind/solar article is a bit misleading. Wind and solar account for almost 5% of installed capacity, as opposed to generation.
Ah, good point. I can at least change my link wording.
Does anyone else remember when Lenox had a dozen “electric car only” parking spots back in the mid-90s? They went empty probably 99.8 percent of the time. I bet they’ll get more use now!
Why do you think? Won’t charging stations be a form of metered parking, unusual for Lenox with its acres of free parking?
Are the new lights at McCoy to be powered by solar or wind, or heaven forbid, that nasty nuclear /coal stuff?
They’re powered by kitten kisses.
And when I see you
kitten as a cat (ow)
Yeah as smitten as that (ow)
I can’t get that small
The way you fur
The how you purr
It makes me want to paw you all
