Went to Pinewood on Friday night and it was overflowing with people. Came back on Saturday to a slightly smaller crowd and was able to get a place at the bar. The drinks were great! Our favorites were the Aviation No. 1 and the house punch. We’ll be back…
Had our second visit to Pinewood this weekend, and still just as good! Two fatty requests:
1) Bring back cream gravy option.
2) Move mac and cheese back to sides menu! You can still charge the same price for it…I just can’t order a dinner dish (covered in cream gravy), as well as an “appetizer” of mac and cheese…and still look myself in the mirror. Call the mac and cheese a side dish, and then I’m shame-free and can enjoy ordering it again.
A few years back I had the wonderful opportunity to “dance” with Matt “Where the Hell Is Matt” Harding. It was at Olympic Cent Park. He is a great fella and has a gift for bringing people together. I count it as one of my bucket-lists accomplishments. Hope he comes to Georgia again.
Here is another link to another one of his dances. Enjoy!
The AJC article on the TSPLOST vote is good, but still doesn’t help me make up my mind on this one. DM, maybe we can have a series of posts here to discuss the pros and cons, the plan B options, etc.?
The fact is there is no Plan B or as many Plan Bs are there are advocacy groups. The law did not allow for a Plan B. If the vote fails, the entire planning process starts over again and there may or may not be another vote in two years or more.
