I’m sorry I wasn’t tuned in to this enough. I had a great time with my friends viewing Lima Lives! a while back and I wish I had organized a viewing for Portrait of My Father.
I saw it. Old yellow plane was what caught my attention. The rest? Not so much. Couldn’t tell what it was but now that I read about it, a nice tribute on Father’s Day weekend.
It was a nice addition to yoga at Olmsted Park…funny thing was that the sky was cloudless, then the plane flew over, and pretty soon a few clouds showed up, as if the portrait was scouting out new territory for the cloud settlers.
We saw it over Emory pool midday Saturday. My interpretation was that it was an advertisement for Cloud computing! Must be watching too much Mad Men . . .
I saw it over Mechanicsville earlier today. Had no clue what it was, though. Very cool project, now that I know.
I saw that with my kids this morning when we were walking home from the farmer’s market. We had no idea what it was, but that’s pretty cool.

yawn. there really isn’t much “there” here.
Its … Cute.
But there’s not enough here to hold together for longer than a skinny minute, if that.
Where did you observe from, Bark Boy?

Happy Fathers’ Day to all you Dads!

+1. I thought the exact same thing!
Jet Ski in the sky. Annoying.
What — no bad Flux puns? Disappointed.
You need to read the Flux Project web site. Who would have known it was a tribute to the artist’s father. http://fluxprojects.org/projects/portrait
