Lost Cat on Northern Avenue

Hanners the orange tabby escaped through a window on Sunday, May 6 on Northern Avenue (off West Ponce de Leon). He is about a year old and friendly, though shy. He’s not wearing a collar, but he has a microchip. He was being watched by a friend at her apartment while I was out of town, so he’s not familiar with the area. He’s up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered. Please call day or night if you see him or have any information, or e-mail me at [email protected] . Please note that he does not have any white on him. Any help is greatly appreciated, and a reward is being offered for finding him.
So, he doesn’t have a white tail??
I live in Oakhurst (near Avellinos) and we have many free-range cats around our house (mine is one of them.) I know most of them by name, but saw – what I estimated – a one-year old, orange tabby, and I thought he looked like a male. But when I tried to call him over, he ran away, and I noticed a fluffy white tail.
I didn’t see him again during the weekend, and I was out in my yard a lot. If I see him again, I’ll let you know.
I checked another photo sent to me and no, unfortunately, he doesn’t have a white tail.
Saw the flyers up near my house. Hope you find him!
Just found Hanners on Woodlawn at dusk! Owner and cat reunited! The photo here and the signs on our street helped us spot him.
YAAAYYYYEEEEE!!!! Thanks for updating us, altmod– so glad this kitty is home & safe.
Excellent. Good night Kitty.
Yeah !!
One of the signs is on the pole at the edge of my yard. Such a beautiful cat. Hated to think of him out there on his own. I have been looking out for him. Great news that he is home safe and sound.
Altmod, is there anything you CAN’T do??
Yes–I can’t seem to stop reading blogs and start doing my work. . . .
Excellent Smithers. The GA legislature will be pleased.
