Video: My personal favorite Portlandia character
That clip is one of the funniest things I’ve seen on TV in a few years. I nearly fell off my sofa last year when he screams, “Whole Foods is COR-POR-ATE!” I was never a huge fan of Fred Armisen, and his Obama impression seems boring to me, but he completely nails down these ultra-liberal, hipster characters.
Talk about NIMBYs. What’s wrong with using the train track alongside College Ave. for trains? I live there, I hear them, but big deal. They were here long before I was, and before anyone complaining about “the noise” was.
Good grief. Would you rather listen to a freeway or to a nice train whistle?
