Yay! Glad you like.
Need to keep trying new things!
DM, you’re so funny!
How about a scrolling “ticker tape” with stock quotes running along the bottom of the page? You can do it!
What would the “local” version of stock quotes look like? Real-time sales data from Decatur establishments?
“Beer $4.75…..SkippyJon Jones Book $13.00….2.5 lbs of Frozen Yogurt $10.30….”
Live TDS and farmburger cams
Did ever tell the story about the time I saw Burrell Ellis standing at the very end of the TDS line, out by the sidewalk? People were confused when I stood up and started singing “God Bless America” under one of those giant heaters and crying into by Memphis taco, but it was a beautiful sight.
The winning lottery ticket was sold at 4144 Memorial Drive.
Greater Decatur?
A lot greater to somebody.
Google says that’s the Shell station at Memorial and Covington Hwy.
I like it, too– keep it!
Thanks so much for the shout-out, DM! I am going to be so homesick for Decatur and all of its Decaturites!
Cath and I are going to make Decatur and Edinburgh unofficial sister cites – make that unofficial Twin sister cities 😉
You will be sorely missed Lauren!
Can you make spur of the moment updates to the DM logo and other graphic whatnots from there??
Of course, DM! I will be working remotely for LFC while in Edinburgh!
Really LIKE this feature of headlines of special interest to Decaturites!
