Pizza! Pizza! Little Caesars Takes Over Mexico City Gourmet Space
Decatur Metro | June 27, 2011
Amanda alerted me to this new tenant in the North Decatur Road strip a week ago, but I felt like I sorta needed a pic. My wife obliged one evening this week after a quick run to Publix.
I noticed this yesterday as well. Does it seem like Little Caesars moved out of the Atlanta market for a couple decades or so and is now moving back in? I remember when I was in high school up in east Cobb in the early 90s, Little Caesars take out was the go-to for big student (OK, band geek) functions. And then I shipped off to school in Athens and when I moved back to the ATL, there were no more Little Caesars.
It’s not that I missed them, exactly. Wouldn’t touch the stuff with a ten-foot pole these days. Just an observation.
Little Caesar’s was the only chain pizza joint I remember really not liking as a kid. And yes, it does seem like they disappeared from the ATL scene or a while.

Oh god. Another place with cheese as a main ingredient.
Just shoot me.
Now, now, Token– calm down. That’s there for the Emoroid undergrads, not you. Shhhhh, there now…that’s a good lad.
Take comfort. They are outside the city limits.
They are not taking the entire space but part of it and then the tenant on the other side is expanding a bit as well.
Who is the other tennant? Mediterranean Gril?
Finders Keepers is opening a men’s store. no cheese.
tenant not tenet by the way
Danke.
Two words. Hot and ready.
There’s been one on Candler about one mile south of CoD for several years. It’s not the best-tasting pizza, but for $5 it sometimes hits the spot.
Pizza!Pizza! Do they still have crazy bread?
I feel like it’s not as crazy as it used to be.
It’ll taste exactly like if you bit off a piece of the faux styro-foam from one of their columns and ate it.
