I’m with kwc’s rainbow view! The optical illusion of a rainbow can be seen from many different perspectives, all of which have validity. CSD needs cheerleaders and monitors and it’s possible to be both.
I didn’t read the posts as fighting but as agreeing that the rainbow applies to all of our schools. As TOK reminds us, a rainbow symbolizes cultural diversity, peace, equality, and/or gay pride.
Thou shalt not fight on the bus and thou shalt share thy table’s markers equally and not hog the pink just because thy mother is room parent and brought the markers.
looks like two–but i’ll struggle to refrain from double rainbow references
But why isn’t it over Westchester?
Saw it, too. From my yard it was over Westchester;)
Nice nelle–you beat me to it. Those damn CSD leprechauns.
I think we should be named the Statler and Waldorf of Decatur.
There’s always a rainbow over Westchester!
What does it mean?
It’s celebrating the arrival of marriage equality in New York.
There is a rainbow over all the schools of Decatur. CSD is lucky to have such a dedicated community to support and challenge it.

Good Lord! We even fight over which school gets the freakin’ rainbow.

Peace and equality in a school? At which level?
Thou shalt not fight on the bus and thou shalt share thy table’s markers equally and not hog the pink just because thy mother is room parent and brought the markers.
Clearly the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is the media center in the school. Books, as good as gold!
