Nice use of tilt-shift. I wouldnt mind seeing a series around decatur like this…. I wish someone had been at a high vantage point with a tilt-shift lens during the Beer Festival—how cool would that be.
No tilt-shift lens involved. The shot was taken from the roof, where I was working on a project for the city. To get this angle, I had my tripod-head mounted on a pipe (speedrail) so I could hang it right on the edge of the building. I was really surprised to see that roof design on the bank so took a quick shot.
What a cool roof.
Where is this? That is awesome!
Westside of the Wachovia Fargo building, I believe.
Correct. Facing NW with the Commerce/Church intersection in the background at the top of the image.
Really? But what if you had a hangover?

I agree. My friend and I are talking about that idea, seeing how it would work during a festival
