I don’t know about this picture, but I submitted the earlier one, and I’d actually taken that picture back in the winter. My guess is it’s the same boot since it’s also on Swanton and looks the same.
Sorry, but I’m just not getting into this “Eye on the Street” thing, or perhaps I’m not getting into the photos that are being used. Do we all really have that little to talk about?
It could simply be a left brain/right brain thing. Although I don’t comment on them much, I really enjoy them! For me, the fun is in where it takes your imagination or your mood. Pure escapism!
Some fav examples: The “driver’s view of an empty E College stretch of road” photo had me thinking up every song with “road” or “lonesome” in it! The “colorful train” photo made me think of a circus train. It also made me feel old for wanting to scold the driver of the car who rolled past the stop sign! And I loved the “wedding party on the sidewalk as shot from a car” one for catching such a happy & special occasion. The juxtaposition of the b&w formal wear+b&w car was neat too.
This boot photo is cool because of the questions it raises. Several come to mind, along with a couple of silly stories my little kin would enjoy. T.J.’s info above makes it even better!
I took this one back in March on Swanton Way at the parking lot entrance to Suntrust. I was curious as to what happened to it’s owner. When I saw the picture of the same boot last week, I dug this one out to see if it was the same boot…and it appears to be.
is that the solo boot that was on top of the parking gate the other day
/?
wle

Poor little lonely boot, looking for its mate.

Don’t worry about it, KatieB, if you don’t care for it, simply direct your attention elsewhere. Other threads, other blogs.
