Optimal Body Chiropractic Coming To the Artisan
Decatur Metro | June 30, 2010 | 9:49 amCarl reports in that Optimal Body Chiropractic has a sign over the old Pambili space in the Artisan Building at West Ponce de Leon and Commerce Drive.
The influx of medical establishments continues!
Medical establishments are about the only thing thriving in this economy.
For-profits; non-profits not so much.
not sure that I’d say that really either. Just because a new place opens doesn’t mean that all places are doing well–that’s like saying that because new restaurants are opening, that that restaurant business is doing great for everyone.
as one example, Emory put on hold plans to build a new hospital until economy turns around.
and generally I know at in my clinic that there has been a lot of cost cutting the last 2-3 years, firing people, requiring people still left to do more with less, just like in other aspects of economy, even if less dramatically than elsewhere. And more people being uninsured also means less people coming in for visits. Definitely since economy crashed, we’ve seen a lot less people wanting to come in, and wanting us to call things in without coming in.
It’s been less dire than it was in other sectors of the economy of course, but it definitely isn’t “thriving,” more surviving.
I go to Lotus of Life. They are the best!
Seconded!!!!
Didn’t know Pambili was closed. Need to get out more.
It didn’t close. Just moved next door. Should have clarified that!
