Two Ways To Support the Atlanta Community Food Bank in May
Decatur Metro | May 8, 2010Both Twain’s and the Iberian Pig have cooked up ways to help out the Atlanta Community Food Bank this month. (Oh the bad and obvious puns, they hurt!)
First off, on Saturday May 15th, Twain’s will host “Springfest” for a second straight year, which will feature 14 bands, BBQ, Twain’s beer (of course), and a silent auction. Tickets are $10 and available at the door the day of the event. All proceeds benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Doors open at 12:45a and bands play from 1p-12m. Two days later, on Monday, May 17th, Iberian Pig chef Chad Crete will host a cooking class at Cooks Warehouse in Decatur as part of the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Simple Abundance series. The menu for the evening runs the gammut from Croquetas de Queso to bacon-wrapped dates. Wine tastings and raffle prizes round out the evening. For more info and to purchase tickets, CLICK HERE.
