Rain Cancels Another Concert on the Square

Cheryl Burnette writes in…

Wow- can you believe it is raining two Saturdays in a row in Decatur?

Unfortunately, due to the threat of a large line of thunderstorms moving through the area, we are canceling tonight’s Concert on the Square. If you are looking for a substitute, check out the “Garden of Eatin”at the Holiday Inn, or stop by Eddie’s Attic for some inside music.

Here’s to another wet weekend in Decatur.

  1. Also the fall equinox concert at the Bradley Observatory at Agnes Scott.

William A. Calder Fall Equinox Concert and Open House
“Music in the time of Galileo: The Galilei Family and the Eclipse of the Renaissance Style”

Concert program to include choral and instrumental music from the late Renaissance and early Baroque.

This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.

  2. I don’t suppose any of the rained-out concerts will be re-scheduled, will they? I’m sorry we missed Geoff Achison–he’s an awesome performer.

  3. If the bands are available we will schedule them for the May series. We were very sorry to miss both Geoff and Soulhound the week before.
