Had dinner there tonight. I had the roasted chicken over smashed potatoes (skins on) and spinach. Chicken was a little bland, but it was exactly what I needed tonight. Hubs had salmon over asparagus risotta. We wanted to ribs and pot roast, but will just have to go back later when it is cooler (I like it to be cold outside when I eat comfort food).

We were told they were about to undergo a major renovation - which will be good. I got the impression they bought the place, ran out and got food, and opened the next day. All outdoor and most indoor tables were taken. We wish them the best and we will be going back.

Pharmhouse is phantastic! As a former Sage (Chef Wayne) devotee I am so excited that he has opened his own place. We have eaten at Pharm several times and each meal has been wonderful. The ribs are and the pot roast make you feel like you have just eaten at mama's on Sunday afternoon. Kudos to Wayne and Michelle! We look forward to many more full bellies!!

Not surprised. Tried it once. How can a restaurant call itself Caribbean and have no jerk, no curry's, no brown stew or anything else that is from the islands. The only thing "Caribbean" on the menu was coconut fried shrimp!

Best of luck to Wayne and staff. We'll be in soon.

I just went to the Pharm House today forl unch (and very well may go back for dinner). It is a great addition to the square and I hope will be here for a very long time. It has excellent food, good prices and the waitress could not be nicer or more excited that we were there. This is my new go to place!

Can't say Harry's will be missed. We had the misfortune of eating there. SYSCO city. And the service, even when the place was completely empty, was terrible.

I know there are technical differences between frozen custard and frozen yogurt, but it's hard to engender much support for the former when Decatur seems destined to have 37 of the latter. I definitely don't think we need any more bakeries or pastry shops, even one the caliber of Alon's. That market's oversaturated as it is.

I've really been missing a Vietnamese option in downtown Decatur since Viet Chateau left (though Cakes & Ale was definitely a trade up). A ramen-ya would be awesome to have.
