Decatur Mother's Day Ideas & Specials

May 8, 2009 | 4:07 pm

If your mother lives closer than 7 states away (like mine does) you might wanna click over to Decatur Mom, who has put together an excellent and extensive list of Decatur-based Mother’s Day ideas.

Kelly tells us that all moms will receive a complementary glass of champagne at Tastings on Sunday.

Also, The Decatur Minute has the dish on Vivid Boutique’s Mother’s Day specials.

Any other businesses that have specials going on this weekend should feel free to post ‘em below.

Happy Mother’s Day Mom!  Wanna fly down this weekend and paint the proverbial town?  :-)

Since our move to Downtown Decatur, we have decided to liquidate most of our inventory of fine, handcrafted jewelry. On Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 we will have a 50% off sale of this Jewelry along with 50% off much of our pottery. If you haven’t been by to see us lately, now is the time. 415 Church Street, just across from the Decatur MARTA station.

I never counted the states before but I guess you’re right! Oooo, pottery from The Seen Gallery sounds like a nice Mom’s Day gift idea! Do you have a safe place to store it before my next visit? :) Love you, DM!
