Vision Properties Gave $1,000 to Oppose Prop. 8

November 21, 2008 | 11:20 am

Southern Voice did a little digging and found that Georgia residents and businesses gave $71,579 to California during the Prop. 8 battle, with over 80% going to opposition of the measure that banned gay marriage.

Among the four groups/individuals that gave $1,000 or more to the opposition was Decatur’s Vision Properties, along with a local Decatur resident.  If you want to see the resident’s name click over to SV.

    From Cox press release:
“Grover will be responsible for coordinating Cox Communications’ state legislative activities within the areas in which the company operates. He also will oversee Cox’s relationships with national policy organizations and provide counsel on political activities.”

    DM,

It seems inappropriate to allow someone to post personal info such as this on your blog. Id suggest you delete Tony’s comments down and give Mr Grover a little privacy.

Mr. Grover’s posted information is available to anyone on the Internet in under :05 seconds via a simple Google search of his name. It is not private. In fact it’s quite public. So privacy is not really an issue here. Mr. Grover’s employer seemed happy to post a press release with details of his position. Also public. Mr. Grover can have his name, phone number and address removed from Google address search if he so chooses.

    Tony

I am just wondering why you feel compelled to post his address and phone number here, what is your point in do this?

Well, if people want to search for it that’s their choice.

There’s a reason I didn’t post the name, let alone an address and phone #…just a link to the SoVo article.

So in keeping with that, the name, address and phone # previously posted above have been removed.
