Filming at Agnes Scott?

August 9, 2008 | 11:20 am

Tracy writes in…

“The street was closed down in front of Agnes Scott this morning – and there were a bunch of production trailers. Do you know what they are filming?”

I did a quick Google search, but couldn’t come up with anything. Any one know?

UPDATE: An Agnes Scott student provides the answer in the comments section

I go to agnes scott and we got an email a few days ago that they’re filming Van Wilder 3 on campus until august 25, right before classes start.

I thought I saw some signs for Gigli 2?

No idea what they are filming there now. But here’s some others that have been filmed there (from Wikipedia):

    Scream 2
    Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius
    A Man Called Peter
    Why Did I Get Married?

Thanks agnes scott student. Somehow I missed Van Wilder 2. Something tells me this won’t be a good movie for students to show their parents, as an introduction to the school. :)

Thanks student! I looked all over the Agnes Scott website, but couldn’t find anything.

Wasn’t some of the upcoming Star Wars-related drama “Fanboys” filmed there as well?

Van Wilder 3? Can you say “straight-to-video”?

Went by the set today and yes it’s probably stv. Interesting note for those on this blog who may be in the business like I am they’re shooting on two Red digital video cameras.

Today they were doing a graduation scene with about 60 or 70 extras.

I didn’t see anybody on the crew I knew so I left after a few minutes.

The Four Seasons with Alan Alda was also filmed at ASC. Maybe ASC should so a film festival and show all the movies filmed on campus one weekend.

Does anyone know which scenes in The Four Seasons were filmed at ASC?

If I remember correctly, it was the Fall scenes where they go to visit the daughter of one of the families. It was probably just the exterior shots of ASC that were used to make it look like a small NE college. But, now you have me wondering. Think I will set my TiVo to record it, next time it airs.
