Top Sandwich Shop Headed to Decatur
Decatur Metro | October 10, 2007 | 3:10 amAccording to Creative Loafing, the worldly Pangaea is expanding from West Midtown to the east side of Decatur. This top-rated, Best of Citysearch sandwich shop is moving in on Ponce to the east of Sam’s Crossing (2752 E. Ponce de Leon Ave). Check out the menu here.
This is a big jump for Decatur development. Trendy restaurants moving east of DeKalb Industrial? Watch out Pin-Ups! Redevelopment is on the doorstep!
Update: David over at in Decatur headed over to the site this morning and reported that Pangaea is moving into the old METRO auto repair building/garage. Renovations are already underway.
yea! yum!

Though the fact that it was rated the top sandwich shop by Citysearch almost argues its trendiness, regardless of location.
I wanted to let Decaturites know of our new store recently opened, called Whit’s End. We are located across from the post office on Ponce, and we bring affordable and casual clothing, gifts, and accessories to downtown Decatur. Shop for high quality, mid-priced outerwear, underwear, footwear, and everything in between. Levi’s, Columbia, Fossil, Jockey, Chiliwear, Prana, Kuhl, Decatur Girl, Tom’s Shoes, and Yuckboy are amongst the lines featured. Great accessories and gifts. Top notch customer service, and free parking in our own lot.
